A youth gardening program of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension and 4-H in York County.
York County youth will participate in hands on learning at outdoor team demonstration gardens.
The children will then be able to apply what they learn, at home in their own 3 x 5’ raised bed garden plot.
Each child will be matched with a Master Gardener Volunteer as a “garden mentor” to advise and support their efforts at home.
The children may prepare a display and enter it in the Acton Fair.
